This course was awesome and needed.! My biggest takeaways related to growth mindset and the motivational talks and practices. I can use the exercises in my daily life to be more peaceful and to communicate with others more effectively.
This course was great! Perfectly timed for anyone needing to do some self-improvement. There are so many useful strategies that I am walking away with for my own personal and professional growth.
I enjoyed this course. The activities are practical in many areas of life, personal and professional. This course will help you look at things in a different way!
The biggest takeways of this class were; effective ways of communicating and the impact that our internal belief system/mind can have on our physical body. As a teacher I think it is really important for students to understand this so that they can feel empowered to learn and grow as people not only academically but also social emotionally.
This course was really useful and eye-opening for me. It will be helpful with my students, colleagues, and every day life. I need to take the time for mindful breathing.
I happened upon this course at a time in my life when I needed it the most. So many helpful strategies for navigating work, school and honestly life overall! I love how things were tied to something so relatable. This course could be used in every professional setting and as a tool for anyone with anxiety or low self esteem. I will definitely be using many of the strategies I have learned moving forward.
This course was extremely useful. As a school teacher, I plan on using a lot of the things I learned here with my students. There's so much that can be applied to the classroom as well as everyday life.
My biggest takeaways from this course was learning about how my thoughts control my emotions and how the brain functions. I can use these things practically in my day to day life by stopping to process why I might be feeling a certain way, and then thinking of ways to reframe that situation to a positive one or as a learning opportunity.
I have been using a lot of this information with my daughter who has anxiety and depression. My biggest take away is that we can do things to change and support our mental health. There are lots of things to help us. It can also help me with staff and studnets to support them in having good mental health and in understanding them.
I use deep breathing frequently so it was good to learn I am doing something right! I , like carrie.farber, need to work on "cat"astrophizing as I find myself doing it alot. My husband tells me frequently my tone doesn't match my message!
The biggest takeaway includes recognizing when I am "cat"astrophizing in my mind, and the understanding that I can control it instead of spiraling. Also how much visualizing, deep breaths and tone of voice matters.
